Chree Boydstun

Chree Boydstun serves as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) for Legacy Community Health Services, the largest Federally Qualified Community Health Center in Texas. Legacy extends vital primary and preventative healthcare services to over 175,000 underserved individuals each year through 61 clinic locations across the greater Houston and Beaumont areas. Since she joined Legacy in 2007, Chree has been responsible for raising more than $350 million in funding that has significantly increased access to quality and affordable healthcare.

Prior to her role at Legacy, Chree served as the Director of Development for the Society for the Performing Arts. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications with a minor in Political Science. She also holds certifications from the Non-Profit Management Center and Meetings Professionals International.

In her spare time, Chree serves as a member of the board of directors for the American Cancer Society and is co-chair of the 2024 Men Wear Pink. She is on the Advisory Committee for the Latin Women’s Initiative, and Chair of the Development Committee for the Southern Smoke Foundation Board. She is a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She formerly served as a Trustee for the M.D. Anderson Proton Therapy Center, in the executive committee of Performing Arts Houston, a board member for the Theater District, UNICEF, and Crisis Intervention. Chree is a graduate of the American Leadership Forum, was named one of Houston’s 50 Most Influential Women in 2018 by Houston Woman Magazine, was named a 2024 Woman of Distinction by the Houston Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, and is a 2024 American Cancer Society’s Tickled Pink honoree.

Chree has dedicated her life to helping others and is passionate about serving those who are most in need. Chree’s fundraising efforts and leadership continues to improve the health and wellbeing of her community, and she looks forward to reaching even more Texans in the years to come
